excel & snow leopard

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel

exel mac 2008 used to work correctly before the snow leopard's instalattion.
There are some delays or even doesn't respond. But this just happens at user account, because if I run the excel at guest account it works perfectly.
Could anyone help me find a solution for that?

One of the more common side effects of upgrading to Snow Leopard...

Run the OS X Font Book app to (a) Resolve Duplicates & (b) Validate Fonts, the shut down your Mac, wait about a minute or so before starting up. That should clear the font caches & correct the problem. If not, see the steps here for cleaning font caches:
