Someone Please help me. The past few weeks, something has changed - when I
click on File - to do a Save AS - all that appears is Open and a list of the
last four files that I have opened recently. I can not get the Save As,
print or any of the other normal listings to appear under the File menu. Any
suggestions? Thanks in advance [email protected]

Some versions of Excel will abbreviate your menus, showing only commands you
have recently used. However, the list should expand if you hover on the list
long enough, or if you click on the down arrow at the bottom.

If you see a down arrow in your list, click on that, and it should solve
your problem. If not, post back with the version of Excel you are using, so
we can help you further.

Just to add to Fred's reply:

I like to show the full menus all the time. If you're showing only the recently
used items, you can toggle that off with:

tools|Customize|Options tab
Check Always show full menus

If that wasn't it, you could try resetting the worksheet menu bar.

Tools|customize|toolbars tab
select the worksheet menu bar (near the bottom of the toolbars list)
click Reset.

Then test it out.
