Hi. Have an excel spreadsheet that was created in Excel 2000 last night. This
morning I've tried to open it with Excel 2000 (on the same laptop which the
spreadsheet was created) but every time I do this it just forces excel to
exit - no error messages or anything. However I can open the spreadsheet
using Excel 2007.
Have managed to partially recover the document by filtering the spreadshett
through the Office 2003 Excel viewer and copying the data into another
spreadsheet in Office 2000.
Does anyone know why this has happened? And How I can ensure that I can
resolve it again int he future, without having to go through different
versions of Office?
