Excel suddenly begins to write in empty cells

When working in Excel and Word the programs suddenly begins to write without
anyone touching the keyboard. Can't find any solution in updates for windows
or my virus programs.

It sounds like Speech recognition is enabled. To turn it off go to
Tools/Speech.

Also note you can still experience delays and odd behavior in the
application even if you do note have a microphone or if it is turned
off.
