Excel tempalte Wizard Function

I am running Excel 2000 and have a worksheet using the Template wizard
to export cells to access. My problem is that the workbooks containing
this information has slowed drastically, I have tried everything
including re-intalling office to no avail. Any idea would be greatly
appreciated

I don't use access, but Charles Williams and David McRitchie have some notes

(cleaning the temp folder and making sure journalling is off are two quick
