excel to outlook calender?

hi

i have a work roster which is in an excel spreadsheet

is there anyway i can import this into the outlook calender in one
step?

i have to use outlook calender as i syncronise with my smartphone and
it only uses outlook.

currently i have to add each duty/roster item into the calender day by
day and its taking ages

any help would be appreciated

Setup the roster in Outlook once then export it to Excel and use that XLS as
a guidepost for future import files
