I am searching for a helpful tutorial that is inexpensive and preferably online. Specifically I am hoping to find out more on how to convert charts and graphs.

Although I have no idea what you are trying to convert charts from or
to, there are free tutorials in Excel 2008 Help. Click the ? on the
standard toolbar and then search on the word: charts

There is a free course titled Get Started with Charts in Office 2008

and
There is a free tutorial movie Get Started with Charts

I must have been really sleepy when I posted my answer, because MVP Bill
Jelen posts free Excel tutorials daily on iTunes. Sorry I forgot to
mention this:

His postings are based on Excel for Windows, but the chart feature is
nearly identical on both Macs and PCs.
