Excel Unresponsive

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

Excel becomes extremely slow when I have the Parallels Virtual Machine running.

This started happening yesterday. I believe subsequent to setting the file association for Excel docs in XP to open in Excel 2008 in OS X.

I have unassociated .xls files with no change.

I use both Excel 2008 and parallels continuously and have not noticed this
issue. Have you updated to the latest version of Office and Parallels?
