Excel won't open spreadsheet

I have a user that has a problem that I have not seen before. If yo
start Microsoft Excel and select File-Open you can open any spreadshee
without an issue. But if you just double click on an Excel file, Exce
will start up but it will not open the spreadsheet. It just sits a
the blank grey screen. Anyone know of a fix or work around for this?

Hi
try the following:
goto 'Tools-Options-General " and uncheck "Ignore other Applications"
Exit Excel and try again

If this doesn't work try to re-register Excel

1. Close Excel first and
2. On the Windows Taskbar
2.1 Start>Run "excel.exe /unregserver"(no quotes)>OK.
2.2 Start>Run "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)>OK.
