Whenever I tab or hit enter my worksheet disappears and I have to hunt all over for it. It is taking me hours to do simple data imput. Help

Especially when abnormal behavior like this is involved it's impossible to
offer any responsible suggestions without significantly more detail:

Exact update level of Office?
Exact update level of OS X?
One specific file or all files?
Files you created locally or received from elsewhere? If created elsewhere
what is the source, version & file format?
When you "hunt all over" *where* do you find it? Describe fully what exactly
is happening -- "disappears" doesn't say much.
Since this is a new behavior, what else has changed on your Mac that may
have had an influence on it... Any recent updates, installation of new
software, settings change of any kind?
Have you taken any steps to resolve it? If so, what? What were the results?
