You may want to also check with the folks in the Microsoft Office Groove discussion group on this through the links below. Please
include when posting there the version of Excel you'll be using. Generally if you're using worksheet protection from editing rather
than Rights Management protection it doesn't sound from your description as if there would be an issue.

I have an Excel worksheet that has conditional formatting, data validation, and
worksheet protection. If I share this Excel worksheet in a Groove
collaborative workspace, with these features be preserved?
