I tried "Format | Row | Autofit" and "Format | Column | Autofit"... as well as changing the text formatting from "General" to "Text" to "Number" and back to "General" again. I have changed font size, column width, alignment properties, and every other modification I could think of... but it still overlaps the text. Even when I press Alt+Enter and get multiple lines in the formula bar, the cell continues to display the text overlapped on top of itself
I am running Windows XP Professional and originally had Excel 97 installed... but after having this problem and not finding a solution, I upgraded to Excell 2002... unfortunatley it didn't help and I'm right back to where I started. Any ideas would be great!!
Thanks

Select the row and do Format / Row / Autofit. Any manual setting will overrid
