We have a client that was upgraded from Office XP to Office 2003 about a year
ago. They have Excel files that where created in Office XP, but will not
open in Office 2003. Well they kind of open but we get error messages about
how the file is damaged. We can open them in Office XP with no problem. We
have repaired and reinstalled 2003, but no luck. Office 2003 is up to date
on patches as well. We have also tried opening the Excel files in safe mode
but we get the same issue. Any suggestions as to why Office XP files wont
open properly in Office 2003?
