I have been using Excel for years now, Mac OS 10. Continually, with
or without other applications open, Excel quits for no known reason.
There is no consistency to the process I am involved in and nothing I
do is complicated.

Sorry, but we'll need more information. Does it quit when in the background?
If not, what are you doing when it quits? What were the last updates you
did? Do you get the error reporting tool? What version of Excel? What
version of OS?
