How do you change the defaults in Excel? Specifically, can I change the default for inserting a cell (Insert, Cell) from shift cells down to shift cells right?

Most defaults in Excel -- as with most any Mac apps -- are controlled
through the program's Preferences [ApplicationMenu> Preferences or
Command+Comma], but AFAIK there is no means of permanently setting that
particular default. Whether it defaults to Right or Down depends on the
array of selected cells & whether they have content.
