I have an excel file that, when opened, nothing shows up,
but when I click on print preview the file shows there.
Not sure if this happens on all excel files. This is
Office 2000 SP3. Any Ideas?

Had this happen the other day to one of our users. The
cells had been formatted with the print white. When I
changed it to black, everything reappeared.

Maybe it's just off the screen.

Window|arrange|tiled
and resize manually.

My office mates and I are now having the same problem
regardless of the version; I have 97. The formula bar is
also very odd. I wish I knew what the problem was and how
to really correct it. Here's the shortterm fix I found
that will work...

The first thing I now do is confirm that I can see it in
print preview. If I select Full Screen under View I am
able to see it and make my modifications. The tabs at the
bottom of the worksheet are partially hidden, but I can
navigate around and then save the document. I then
completely exit excel and open an excel document that is
clean. When I subsequently go back in after I have saved
my updates, I can see the original worksheet and all the
cells just fine.
