On the worksheet when viewed?
Tools>Options>View. Check Gridlines
When printed?
File>Page Setup>Sheet. Check Gridlines
If gridlines do not show up, perhaps the cells have been formatted to White
color.
Any shading will wipe out gridlines.
Default is "No Color"
