I've just come across something which is concerning me a little. I hav
a large table of data, comparable to a list of customer orders. Th
first column contains the customer's name - which is often repeated.
I tried using the Advanced Filter option (copy to new location, uniqu
records only) in an attempt to create a definitive list without th
duplication... however whilst the list contains 1017 unique values
this method only listed 1008 of them - I've identified the remaining
with Vlookups, but I can't see any reason why Excel would have omitte
them from the list.
Is this a common problem, and does anybody know of a patch or some wa
around it
