When opening rather large word docs with heavy formatting
in Word 2000 SR-1, I get a message reading, "This document
may be corrupt. To preserve the contents: Choose Select
All from the Edit menu, then choose copy from the Edit
menu. Create a new document and choose paste from the
edit menu."

If I click ok on this message, I can proceed. However,
I've noticed that when trying to open this same document
with Word 2003 I get this error and cannot open the
document:
"Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt.
Try one or more of the following:
* Open and Repair the file.
* Open the file with the Text Recovery Converter.
* Help
* OK

Can anyone help me out here? Thanks,
Chad

Use Word 2003 to use the Open & Repair option.
