Question... When i add a new user mailbox it seems to take appox 24 hours for the new users to show up in the Global Address book when using Outlook in Exchange Cahed Mode. In normal mode it updates approx around the set frequency of the Recipient Update Server (Every Hour). Even when i force download the address book the changes are not visible. Does anyone know where this setting could be changed

I have Cross-Posted this to a Outlook Form Also

Thank

By default, Exchange 2003 regenerates the offline address book every morning
at 4am. You would need to schedule additional rebuild times or manually
rebuild the offline address book after doing add/edits if you want cached
mode users to see it sooner.

To rebuild or work with the schedule, open ESM and go to Recipients >
Offline Address Lists. Right click and select properties to work with the
schedule. (the right click context menu will show you rebuild.)

There is a setting that you can add to the registry on a client machine to
force Outlook 2003 to always go to the Global Catalog server. While this
settings is ideal for workstations that are always connected to the
corporate network, it isn't much good for anyone that works in disconnected
states from the corporate network. Are you interested in following up on
this setting for the corporate desktops and the caveats that go with it?
