Exchange 2003 Running on Win 2003 Server with 2 Domain Controllers

Paul

I have just installed two new servers with Windows 2003 Server.

On the first one after I made it a DC I then run forestprep and domain prep
on it.

I then made the second server a DC and then installed Exchange 2003 onto
this machine.

So now when I go to AD users and computers on the second server (running
exchange) i get the additional boxes for exchange information on user's
details, i dont get this on the first server.

How do i get this information to come up on the first server?

Also does anyone know how often the DC syncronise.

Thanks

Paul

You would need to install the Exchange System Administrator tools on the
first DC.

Default NTDS configuration is once an hour. You can change the schedule via
Active Directory Sites and Services snapin.

What steps do I need to take to install the Exchange System Administrator
tools? I am in the same predicament.

The Windows 2003 server needs Internet Information Services Manager
component (In Add/Remove Programs) and the SMTP snap-ins. (SMTP snap-in is
included in the IIS Manager component.)
