One too many
I've got a work laptop, which is running ms exchange server client on
OutlookXP (& WinXP). I want to read my non work emails through Outlook also,
which uses Pop3.
I can add the accounts no probs, but I get an error when I send and receive:
"Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800ccc0f): 'The connection to the
server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider "
Fairly bland, and no real help.
Its not a firewall issue because I can telnet to the mail server on port
110.
When I'm out of the office, I can get my Pop3. If I then connect over a VPN,
I can get my exchange emails, but no more Pop3. The VPN is a clever VPN that
only routes the nescessary traffic (a traceroute on Google will not go via
the company, but direct).
Any thoughts as to the problem.
