Exchange Delegate Calendar Items Disappearing

Here's an interesting problem:

I have a user who is an assistant to an executive. The assistant has delegate rights to the executive's calendar. The executive's calendar has been added to the assistant's Entourage account.

Entourage syncs the Calendar information for the executive's account (going back to April 2007) to the present, but just as the calendar gets up to the current date, about a years worth of Calendar entries disappear from the executive's delegated Calendar under the assistant's account.

Entourage then goes back and tries to resync the data that has disappeared. Once it gets up to the current date, it goes back to about the same date and the whole thing starts over again.

Here's what I've done:

1. Emptied the assistant's Entourage cache to force the account to resync. No effect.
2. Deleted the assistant's account from Entourage and rebuilt it. No effect.
3. Removed/Readded the user as the Executive's delegate on a PC. Verified assistant has correct delegate permissions. No effect.
4. Verified that the executive's calendar was intact. There is no data loss.
5. Tried downgrading to an earlier version of Office 2008. Same issue.

Has anyone experienced this problem? I work with Entourage all the time and I've never, EVER seen this before.

Any ideas?

Yes, this is happening to me as well with our exec team.

Here's what I've done:

1. Emptied the assistant's Entourage cache to force the account to resync.
No
effect.
2. Deleted the assistant's account from Entourage and rebuilt it. No effect.
3. Removed/Readded the user as the Executive's delegate on a PC. Verified
assistant has correct delegate permissions. No effect.
4. Verified that the executive's calendar was intact. There is no data loss.
5. Ran ISInteg on the Public data store. No effect.
6. Removed delegate edit/write access to Exec¹s calendar last night. Meeting
disappeared this morning.

Has anyone found a fix/have advice on how to fix this issue? The most
important people in my company are missing meetings. NOT GOOD!

Calendar items are randomly disappearing. Bumping this discussion because I
have heard no response.
I have read that this may be an issue only with Exchange 2003 and Entourage
2008. Sort of an expensive fix, but is acceptable as long as I know it will
fix the issue.
