Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Email Client: pop Hi

I am working freelance and in order for me to get an email with my different clients email address I was advised to set up an exchange email account but it looks like i have to upgrade my entourage (part of office 2008). is there any other way? I am keen to keep using entourage to consult my other accounts. On PC it was possible using POP but it seems that now i've moved to MAC that is not the case - is that correct? Thanks Christine

There should be no reason that POP will not download from your clients. An
advantage of Exchange and IMAP is you can access from multiple sources and
everything is synced like read/unread. Exchange has an added benefit of
having your calendar, notes etc available.

It¹s easy to upgrade if your Exchange account qualifies. Simply download the
EWS installer 13.0.4 and install. It will upgrade Entourage and al future
updates will automatically Entourage. If you do not qualify, Entourage v12
works with the older Exchange servers.

Requirements:

Microsoft Exchange Server: Connectivity to Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft
Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580) or later version.

Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580)
must be applied to both the Mailbox server and the Client Access server
roles.

Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac 12.2.1 Update or higher
