Exchange Mail on Two Computers

I have a work desktop and a travel laptop. I have configured my laptop to
use Exchange over HTTP when on the road so I can get my mail. However, when
I returned to the office, I found that the email had been downloaded to my
laptop and removed from the server entirely. I know that with POP server
setting, I am able to specify that my mail remain on the server. Is there a
similar setting for Exchange mail? Maybe it is the "Exchange Cached Mode"
setting, but from what I've ready, that would disable offline use of the
exchange account entirely. Ideally, I would like to have a copy of my email
on both machines.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Ray

Yes, absolutely, and should be working by default. What's in the mail
profile on your laptop? And do you have any rules/custom views set in
Outlook on your desktop?

As it turns out, I added the Exchange Email account to an existing profile
which deliveres all the messages to a .PST. This effectively removes them
from the Exchange server. What I have done to correct the problem is create
a new profile with the Exchange Mail account and associated .OST file as the
default delivery locations. For my POP mail accounts in the same profile, I
added my original .PST files to the profile and created Mail Rules than move
incoming POP mail from the .OST Inbox to the .PST inbox. It is a little
backwards, but it is the only way I have found to keep my exchange mail on
the server.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Thanks,
Ray
