Exchange/Open additional mailbox

M

Mike

I already have one Exchange account setup in OL 2003, but
need to add another mailbox since the person requested a
second one. I went into the account settings and added
the second mailbox name. In OL, when I click on the
folder, it says the account cannot be accessed. Both
accounts are on the same Exchange server. Is there a
permission I need to change?

Thanks in advance!

Does the user have full rights to the mailbox (set on the server)? If so,
add the second mailbox to the Exchange server service properties (I think
it's in Advanced) in that Outlook profile - it will open it up in the folder
list.

Indeed, make sure the user has permissions on the mailbox. Use Active
Directory Users & Computes for this.
