Exchange Server 2003 and Protocols

Hi

Small issue with exch 2003. Had all working OK with Exch 2000 but updated
server to Win 2003 Standard and Exch 2003 and now I cannot get Exch:2001 Mac
to connected to the server. I have Mac volumes on the desktop OK.

When I try to set up / connect using the Exchange Service and go to the
setting panel, clicking the 'Check' button (after entering the server and
account names) get a dialog asking for the log-in details which are
entered, etc and there is a pause and then a message 'The Name could not be
resolved. Network Problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft
Exchange Server computer. Contact your...etc'

I have tried both TCP/IP and AppleTalk (there is no Zone showing - should
there be?) and get similar prompts. Do remember that I can connect and
share resourses such as Mac vols - puzzled!

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Regards
Paul

looks like you are having connection issues, see if the steps in the article
below help you to resolve this issue. also make sure because of your strict
security policy you are not requiring all clients to use NTLM v1 or v2 to
connect to domain resources, as Outlook 2001 can't use them, it supports
only LMHash (a special implementation of it for Mac OS client)
