We have an exchange server 2003 on a Windows server 2003. On our network we
also have a server 2000 running active directory. when we add a user to the
domain on the 2000 server, the user does show on the 2003 server and the
mailbox is created on the server 2003 with no problems. However, create
another user on the server 2003, where the mail server is running (Exchange
Server 2003) which is a domain controller, the mailbox never gets created. We
are chosing the correct server when it prompts for which email server to
create the mailbox.
So, If we go directly to the server where the exchange service is installed,
create a user and define the correct email server, it never completes. Go to
the other domain controller, win 2000, create the user there, and it WILL
complete and make a mailbox on the Server 2003...
Any ideas on what I am missing here?
