Excluding a heading from table of contents?

Is there any way to exclude a specific heading from my automatically
generated table of contents? There one heading in my document which I don't
want to appear in my TOC (I have my reasons!). Cheers.

A simple way is to create another style based on the heading style, but with
its outline level set to 'BodyText'. Another method, if the excluded heading
is first or last in the document, is to select the rest of the document,
apply a bookmark, then restrict the TOC to the bookmarked area.
