Hope someone can assist with the following problem.
I suddenly find that when I try to go to design view for items in one
of my Dbs in
Access2003, I get system msg "you do not have exclusive access to the
Db at this
time------and changes will not be saved-----."
The Db's are all listed as "exclusive" in tools>options>advanced, and
no changes
were made to the Db's on transfer to the new PC.
I've tried doing File>open>exclusive, but the Db is already listed as
"open exclusive".
The problematic Db is a front-end Db. (The back-end works fine, and is
also "open exclusive".
The PC is not networked, and has never had any other users.
Anyone have any idea what is wrong, and what can be done to correct
problem>
