I have a database that has been working fine for years. Recently,
when modifying a form, I am periodically getting the message: "You do
not have exclusive access to the database at this time. If you
proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later."
In searching the problem, I found one fix regarding a change in Adobe
Acrobat. I also discovered that under Tools>Options>Advanced, the
"Default Open Mode" was set to shared, which I have since changed to
"Exclusive".
This database is only on my own computer, and not shared with anyone
else.
When I get the message, I see that the corresponding ldb file is
present.
The problem is random and I can't predict when/if I will get the
message.
Can someone provide some insight?
