I have an Access database and my default open mode
(Tools/Options/Advanced) is Exclusive. When I double-click
the .mdb file it opens up. When a colleague whose default
open mode is Shared double-clicks the same .mdb file he
also gets in!
If I select File/Open then browse to the .mdb file, select
it and click Open Exclusive, and he does the same, he is
prevented from getting in.
Anybody know why the difference?
Steve.
