There is a command line switch you can use in a shortcut that opens a
database exclusively. Is there a similar switch that opens a database in
shared mode?

TIA

Shared is the default: if you don't use the excl switch, then it should be
opened shared.

Hi.

Omitting the command line switch /excl opens the Access database file in
shared mode. There is no need to explicitly specify "shared" mode, as
opposed to "exclusive" mode.
