Exit Animation Powerpoint 2000

Steve

Hi All

I have read that Powerpoint 2000 doesn't allow for exit animations, has this
ever been overcome, or is there a work round?

TIA

If you upgrade to PPT 2002, 2003 or 2004 (Mac), you will be able to do the
exit and emphasis animations. If you are stuck on PPT 2000 or earlier, you
are stuck with just the old style animations.

If you are trying to play a presentation created in one of the newer
versions, you can download the Viewer and run the presentation through that.
Usual caveats apply - no macro support, only runs on certain systems, etc.

Steve,

This limitation was overcome when they released PowerPoint 2002 <vbg>.
Actually, you can get a partial exit by adding an object over what you want
to exit, and bring that object in, which hides the masked object. Beyond
that, PowerPoint 2003's animations *eat* those of 2000.
