exiting an interactive presentation

Is there a way to place an exit button or something on a
presentation? This is a power point presentation that has
been saved on a cd using powerlink plus, that will be sent
out to customers. I don't want them to get stuck in the
program with no way out!

If the presentation is saved as a PPS file, all you need to do is put an
Custom Action Button on the slide and add the text "Exit" or "Quit" to it
and assign the Action Setting to "End Show". You can actually assign this
action to any object, but I like the Custom Action Button (under "AutoShape"
on the Drawing Toolbar because it is raised like a button, has no picture on
it, and can have text added (right-click on the button).

The Escape key works of course, but a button can be easily added to
individual slides, or to the Slide Master, and linked to "End Show".
