Expanded "===" can't be deleted; at least I can't. Any ideas

Hi All,

I'm running MS Office Word 2003 over WinXP/SP2. Both are up-to-date
with Microsoft Update.

I inadvertently got a pair of "horizontal rules" after type a few
consequtive "=" characters. Somehow, I failed to un-do that action
until I entered a lot more stuff.

I used to get rid of generated stuff like this by clicking it and
getting a little dialog box that would allow me to delete the unwanted
object.

Is there a guaranteed way to get rid of stuff like this?

Thanks in Advance,
Richard

Hi g-n-o,

Great answer! Thanks.

Your answer was so succinct, I didn't think your post *even* contained
an answer. Then I noted that the respondent was an MVP, so I looked
harder and finally saw that great link. I'll look there in the future
before posting.

Best wishes,
Richard
