Expanding/Collapse pivot table rows from Analysis Server cube

I am running Excel 2007 and SQL-server 2005.

If i make a pivot table from a spreadsheet I can expand/collapse rows for
all dimensions. If I for instance have the following dimensions in the pivot
table: Car-make, car-model and car-color, then I can choose to see for Ford
all the models, but for Chevy I can choose just to see the total
(expand/collapse function).

I have made a cube through Analysis Server and in that cube I can't do a
expand or collapse. Is this because:
1. I have defined the cube wrong?
2. There is a setting in excel regarding cubes regarding expand/collapse I
have not seen?
3. Expand/collapse is not possible in a cube in the way described above?

I would appriciate feedback and ways to solve this problem.
