Expense Cost resource vs Financing Cost resource

Hello,
Is it possible to manage negative values for Cost resources?
On the same task, I have :
- Finance resource: $ 1000
- Expense resource: $ 800
When I'm using the Visual Report in Excel, I'm told that the result is
$1800.
My accountant said no, it's only $200 :-(
I like the Project's result, but is it possible to tell Project that my
accountant has another point of view ?

When using an Expense Cost resource, you must enter Costs as a postive
number only. Sorry.
