Export Comments fm Word 2007 to Excel 2007

Hi, tried several ways to do this, but unsuccessful. Used print to file,
comments. Tried to open with excel, unreadable.

Hi Charles,

The print to file method might work if you have installed the 'generic/text' Windows printer, but wouldn't be limited to just the
comments if there was other markup.

Without using a macro, which could probably make quick work of this, you can use the Review tab to turn on the reviewing pane with
the Office clipboard from the home tab. With the Office clipboard active select each commment (Word doesn't appear to allow copying
all of the comments at one time) , right click and choose copy, then in Excel open the Office clipboard and use Paste All.
