Hello,

Why do I get table is "read-only" when I try to export
query table.
I am try to write a closed application for a client and
cannot get passed this export of a file for a third party
software.

I just need my client to press a button and pressto I have
a FLAT TXT file for my third party software application.

HELP!

Let me guess (since you don't give enough details).

You're trying to export to text, but you're not using .txt as the extension
of the file to which you're exporting.

Access only allows specific extensions. Check the following KB articles:
