Export from Word to Internet Explorer

Daniel

Good morning,

This is a 2 part question.

I have a form which users must fill-in. The users are also obliged to
fill-in another webpage in which many fields are repeated. As such, I was
hoping that it is possible to copy data from the Word doc over to the webpage
and thus reduce usr interaction to a minimum.

1- How can I open an ie window to a specific webpage?
2- How can I copy data from a form field over to a field in the opened
webpage?

Thank you for the help,

Daniel

That is easy enough. You can get sample code for this at the following
location
http://vb.mvps.org/samples/project.asp?id=HyperJmp

Hmm, much harder. You would need to post this question into a group that
deals with automating and controlling IE. This is so far outside my area of
knowledge that I don't even know which group to point you at.

Jonathan, thanks for the help (its a lot more than I had to go with 10
minutes ago)!

Can anyone point me to the appropriate group to discuss this issue with?!

Daniel
