Export Grid to Excel (is PWA 2003 compatible with Excel 2000?)

On clicking "Export Grid to Excel" in PWA I have this prompt
message "This feature requires Microsoft Excel version
10.0 and greater".
environment:
Windows 2000
EPM (Microsoft Project server 2003)
Microsoft Excel 2000

My client does NOT want to upgrade to a higher version of
Excel . Is there an upgrade or add-in to Excel 2000 to
solve our problem? Any other solution and at what cost?

Ricardo --

In order to access this functionality in PWA, the client must have either
Excel XP or Excel 2003. If they really want to use this feature, they need
to upgrade. Hope this helps.
