I know the automatic time-zone "correction" and spreading all-day events over
two days has been extensively discussed and complained about (if only we
could turn this "feature" off).
Given that I travel through multiple time zones and want to set my notebook
to the correct time and time zone, it seems the only solution for preserving
the time-as-written is to "export" my entire calendar to a file, and then
re-import it with my computer set to the new time zone.
The only catch with this is that the export/import can't handle recurrent
events.
I'm just wondering if there's a workaround to preserve the recurrent events,
or a way to quickly re-create recurrences (in particular, holidays and
birthdays).
