export Inbox to Excel with dates

I wonder why when I export the contents of a Outlook 2002, the time stamps
for messages are lost but header info for mileage is added?
I have a user who, for presentation purposes, wants to export the times,
senders and subjects of e-mails into Excel.

I greatly appreciate any ideas, work-arounds, and solutions.

Construct the table view that you want in Outlook and then copy and paste it
directly to Excel to keep that view.
Same process as posted here (but then applied to Contacts);
