Export Information from Excel .CVS File to Filemaker

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Want to import information from a EXCEL .cvs File To Filemaker.
However, the Excel File has lots of extraneous information (like Amex date, Submission amount Sales Amount, column headings). This extraneous information repeats itself continually throughout the file. Editing to get rid of it all would take hours. It would be easier to just type in the information.
Any easy to way to clear up the Excel file before I try to import ?

Hi,

Why don't you show us what the data looks like and what you want it to look
like? Its pretty hard to tell you what to do without really seeing a sample.
