Export message with read / not read status

i am familiar with exporting outlook messages to a text file, excel file, and
other formats. Outlook does not present the option of including in that
export the read (or not read) status of each message being exported. Does
any know whether that option is available?

I believe it is not. The act of exporting will open the message and cause
it to be read.
