Hi

The situation is as follows :

I have got two different accounts within outlook express mailto:[email protected] and mailto:eek:[email protected]

On outlook 2003 I have got 3 other different accounts ( two of them are alreday existing : mailto:[email protected], and mailto:[email protected] ) and the third one will be mailto:eek:[email protected]

I created a folder withing outlook 2003 and I named it "InboxForImportedOperation"

I would like to move messages for ( mailto:eek:[email protected]) account that are categorized into folders (24 folder with different names) within the inbox from Outlook Express to the specific folder (named InboxForImportedOperstion ) within outlook 2003 on the same PC.

After I move that from OE to outlook 2003 I will delete account (mailto:eek:[email protected]) from OE.

Would it be possible to preserve the custom made folders within Outlook Express inbox when we migate them to outlook 2003 ?

Thanks.

Move all the custom folders OUT of the inbox. (BTW, you should NEVER have
been using the Inbox in OE to store messages - you have been very lucky that
they have not been corrupted) The EXPORT from OE to Outlook. The Folders you
have created should be exported in their entirety.

Means put them on the same level as default "inbox" ,,,,doesn't it ?

How can I assure that those exported folders (i.e 24 folders see my early thread please) from OE will be stored in the folder that I had created within the outlook 2003 (named : InboxForImportedOperstion) ???

Thanks .

Create a folder in OE with the same name. Move all your other folders into
it. Then export. You might have to delete the folder you have already
created in Outlook first...
