Export Problems With Outlook 2007/Vista Home Premium

When I try to export my Outlook Contacts to an Excel 97-2003 file (only
option available), I get through all the steps in the wizard and it appears
to start the export. Then a message pops up saying "Microsoft Outlook has
stopped working". I then have to restart Outlook as no online solutions
appear. I'm saving the file to my desktop, I have ample disk space and RAM.

Try exporting as a Comma Separated Values (Windows) file and see what happens
then.

Outlook cannot import/export to 2007 version. Not an option. Only option is to export to a .csv file and Excel 2007 seems to hurl on that 07-2003 format.
