export report to Word

I post this as a new post because it covers a different topic. Users want to
send their reports from Access to Word (all MS Office 2003 on Windows XP
multiuser platform). I just give the user the Office link icon, and it opens
Word and exports the data, except it "eats" part of the data, including part
of the labels. Fields in the Access reports can grow and shrink as needed,
because some are memo fields of unknown length. Is there a better way to
export data to Word than using the office link? I have never done this, and
couldn't find a better way in help or with my other search efforts (I know
about doing a Macro, but I get the same strange results.) I know that some
formatting will be losed by moving Access report data to the rtf or txt
file, but data should not be lost.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Brigitte P.
