Export reports to Excel

Using PS2003ent,

Is there a way to export reports generated in Project to Excel? I would
like to take my (EVM, Cost and Resource) reports and make them graphical.
Currently I take the data from Project reporting tool and manually add this
data to an Excel spreadsheet where a nice Metrics diagram has been created,
this is very timely. I know there is 3rd party software (WinSite) that will
do this but I was hoping Project could accomplish creating a nice report with
an EVM S-graph view.

There is no way to export the standard Reports from Microsoft Project 2003
to Excel. However, you might want to try the Analyze Timescaled Data in
Excel tool for this by doing the following:

1. Open a project.
2. Click View - Toolbars - Analysis.
3. Click the Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel button.
4. Work through the Wizard by selecting the fields you want to export, etc.

Hope this helps.

Dale,

Just to clarify, unless I purchase 3rd party software like (WinSite) I
would be able to create nice graphical charts and reports using Project. Is
there a way to link my custom Excel reports to the data collecting in
Projects reporting tool. Also I Analysis is not available under my
View-toolbars, even under customize it's not an option.
